Youth Learn Benefits of Youth Clubs via Radio

(April 22, 2024) Dzimwe Radio in Monkey Bay, Malawi brought together more than 200 youth during a sensitization meeting at the Mtakataka Trading Center on the importance of using contraceptives and the value of youth clubs in promoting youth issues. 14-year old Patrick Samikwa was in the crowd and brought along some friends. “We didn’t know that attending youth clubs can help us access information as well as reproductive health services. We thought this {youth clubs} was just a waste of time. Today we have learnt that attending youth clubs is of benefit to us.” The youth came from the villages of Mbwadzulu, Nangoma, Pakamwa and Koma.
