Unrestricted funds are the foundation for all the projects you read about on this site. They enable us to develop new projects before they are funded and often to properly complete the work.
Now, more than ever, community-based radio needs your support to equip people with information that can make their lives healthier and more productive. We urge you to support the work of DRP that uses radio as a powerful tool for positive social change by giving communities a voice to address issues and celebrate their culture.
The Russian broadcaster’s study tour is an example of a project for which DRP supported our role totally from our unrestricted funds. The experience had a lasting affect as this manager describes:
The idea of public radio became close to me. I hope I will have an opportunity to participate in such project implementing in Russia.
Probably for the first time in my life I not only saw but also felt the people who work not for money. They work with the goal to leave a trace after them not only on the ground but also in heads and hearts of the listeners. I felt it on the public stations.
We take our name seriously and value our many partners with whom we work overseas and our donors listed here. We ask you now to join them now as a Developing Radio Partner. Just click the button below to contribute online, or you may print and mail this form (PDF).
